diese alte Dame. Das Singer Modell 28 wurde im Juli 1901 hergestellt (wie ich gerade im Internet herausgefunden habe) und scheint - soweit ich bisher sagen kann - voll funktionstüchtig zu sein. Lediglich ein bisschen Staub auf der Abdeckung und das Holz könnte ein bisschen Politur vertragen.

this old Lady. The Singer modell 28 was manufactured July 1901 (as I just found out in the internet) and - as far as I can tell right now - seems to be fully functional. Just a little bit dust on the cover and the wood could use some polish.

Bei Linda von Paper Panache gibt es momentan ihren "Not-So-Mystery Block #61". Man kann sich dort seine eigene Feen-Quilt-Patin zusammenstellen und als Paper Piecing Muster herunterladen. Ganz im (amerikanischen) Stil der Patinnen von Dornröschen.
Nachdem ich gestern Abend ihren ersten Brief bekommen habe, ist meine Patin, Miterbara, nun noch beim Optiker, um eine neue Lesebrille auszusuchen.
Hoffentlich treffe ich sie bald.
