Die LiebLinksSeife kann man verwenden wie reguläre Seife. Sie wird immer kleiner bis am Ende ein kleines Filzherz übrigbleibt. Das Tutorial findet Ihr auf meiner neuen Seite LiebLinksTutorials (siehe oben ober dem Post).

The LiebLinksSeife (reads as "favorite/favorite link" soap in German ;-) can be used like regular soap. It will become smaller and small until in the end a small felted heart remains. You'll find the tutorial on my new page LiebLinksTutorials (see above over the post).

Neu: Tutorials

Ich war fleißig. In den letzten Tagen habe ich an meinem ersten Tutorial gearbeitet (das mit den Filzherzen), und es ist so gut wie fertig. Das größte Problem ist, wie man eine pdf-Datei ins Blog bekommt. Aber ich denke, dafür weiß ich inzwischen eine Lösung. Wie auch immer: der Signatur-Button für meine neue Tutorialsammlung ist schon fertig. Gefällt er Euch?

I was busy! I have been working on my first tutorial (the one with the felted hearts) and it is almost done. The biggest problem is how to get a .pdf file in the blog. But I think I have solved this one. Anyhow, the signature button for my upcoming collection of tutorials is already done. Do you like it?

 

Unverhofft kommt ...

leider viel zu selten. Vorhin bekam ich einen Anruf: "Sag' mal, hast Du gerade Zeit? Ich würde gerne auf einen Kaffee bei Dir vorbeikommen?"
Klar, Besuch ist immer toll. Und es war lange her, seit ich meine Freundin von Needles-n-Pins das letzte Mal gesehen hatte. Seit ihrem 50. Geburtstag hatten wir uns noch nicht wieder getroffen, daher bekamm sie diese kleine Überraschung von mir. Wenn Ihr ein bisschen Glück habt (und ich ein bisschen Zeit), werde ich demnächst ein Tutorial einstellen, wie man solche Herzen macht.

Always expect the unexpected. Earlier I got a call: "Have you got time right now? I'd like to drop in for a cup of coffee.".

Of course! Having visitors is always fun. And it was a long time since I saw my friend from Needles-n-Pins last time. I hadn't seen her since her 50th birthday, so she got this little surprise from me. If you are lucky (and if I have a little spare time) I am going to post a tutorial on to make these hearts soon.

 

New York Beauties

Liegen schon seit Jahresanfang bereit: die Stoffe für meinen New York Beauty Quilt, den ich endlich mal anfangen möchte. Nun hat eine Freundin von mir erzählt, dass sie auch einen NYB anfangen will (bei ihr ist es allerdings schon der zweite). Na, wenn das kein Anreiz ist: nun muss ich wohl ran!

Ready since the beginning of this year: fabrics for the New York Beauty Quilt, which I had planned to beginn for a long time. Now a friend of mine told me that she starts a NYB, too (admittedly it is her second NYB). If that's not a boost: Let's get going!
