Auslese

Diese Blöcke habe ich beim Einmach-Regaltausch der Quiltfriends bekommen. Nicht alle werden es wohl in mein Regal schaffen - dazu sind sie zu unterschiedlich gearbeitet, insbesondere das Größenverhältnis passt z.T. nicht zueinander. Aber einige Blöcke sind wirklich genial: liebevoll mit Zierdeckchen über dem Verschluss, Vorsicht, kippende Gläser und wirklich witzig: die grüne Weinflasche mit dem 2012 Katzenjammer - steht zwar nicht drauf, aber dieser Wein ist eine besondere Auslese, er bekommt von mir definitiv ein Prädikat!

These are the blocks which came back from the Quiltfriends the jar swap. Probably not all of them are going to make it in my shelf quilt - they are too different for that, especcially the proportions don`t go together well. But some of the blocks are absolutely awesome: with a doilly over the lid, tilting jars and - very funny - did you see the green vine bottle with the "2012 Katzenjammer". (Katzenjammer=crapulousness - albeit less the hangover but more the "sad and miserable" meaning). Though it doesn`t say it on the label this wine has definitely earned a rating from me, "select harvest" would be the least ;-)
